The Elite Team is designed for players that are dedicated to the game with aspirations of playing NCAA Lacrosse. Lakeshore developed a year round training program to improve the skills needed to play at the next level. This will give players the best chance to showcase their individual skills in a team setting against the best competition in the country.
Primary Focuses for the Elite Lakers Program
Offense
- Long and short dodges designed to expose various defenses
- Shooting (time and room, inside, on the run)
- Field awareness and understanding spacing
- Advanced offensive and man up formations
- Riding the defense
Defense
- Proper stick positioning
- Advanced footwork based on angles and running with attackmen
- Advanced stick checking
- Field awareness and understanding when to slide and fill
- Team defense concepts and man down
- Clearing the ball effectively
Lakeshore Lakers developmental teams offer players the best chance to compete at their respective age groups. Lakers players receive the highest degree of instruction from coaches that have successfully navigated the recruiting process and have won at every level of the game. With high-intensity workouts from NCAA, pro and all-world athletes and coaches, along with year-round training, Lakers lacrosse is the best way to elevate your game.

Tryout Registration Fee
Your registration fee of $25.00 will be due upon checkout online. This fee covers facility costs and other expenses associated with the Tryout Camp.

Recruiting Trip
Players will visit schools in Baltimore and Philadelphia between the Summer Kickoff and UPLax Tournaments. There will be at least one practice at a Div I college facility and they will scrimmage at least one local club. Players will stay in a hotel and bus between schools with the team. The team will be paired with True Lacrosse's 2016 team for this trip.
